Nothing much to update you on. This morning, I went to Church as usual. It was the assistant minister, Andy Saville, speaking on Isaiah. It was very ‘heavy’ — quite intellectual and theological! He did say some very interesting things (for example, about “the” virgin in Isaiah 7 referring to “the” woman in Genesis.)
Anyway. This afternoon I came back home, got the GUI of my Computer Vision assignment working, then went out for a walk, then came back and did some more work (in case you’re interested, got a primitive version of the blob colouring algorithm working). At 7:00 I went to the Black Buoy with Simon and Kev B, we had a nice hour having a quiet drink and chat!
Then back home again, to do some random stuff with Alex and Ash. It’s all good fun! Anyway.
Incidentally, I bought League of Gentlemen series 3 on DVD the other day. It’s not actually that good! I got a faulty copy so I’m returning mine and getting a refund. The problem is, I just kept waiting for the punchline but they were few and far between. It was a lot more based around characters than the last two series were and I don’t think it works as well.
Still, that’s the way it goes. I’ll buy another record or something 🙂
