There is a way of resetting you ipod by holding down the play/pause button with the centre button or menu or something though I can’t remember exactly what it was!

You could also try this http://www.methodshop.net site for some more ipod fixes – they tell you what to do it you drop it in the loo for example! Theres a couple of more links (including the above) found at the bottom here: http://news.independent.co.uk/sci_tech/article3113415.ece

Erm apart from all of that I can’t think of much else except pestering apple!
