They haven’t blocked me!

Well, thank goodness for that – the Chinese Government haven’t blocked my website.

How do I know this? The Great Firewall of China. Obviously they don’t consider me a threat… little do they know that’s exactly what I want them to think!

Muahahahahahaha!!!!

Normal service will resume as soon as we’ve figured out what ‘normal’ is.

  1. All my stuff is available too. Although if I was China I would find their server and open all the websites to it.

We are clearly net famous or controversial enough yet, perhaps your next three posts should be on Tiananmen square, Taiwanese independence, and Falun gong ๐Ÿ˜‰

  2. Hehe, I was thinking about posting something up controversial to see if I could try and get blocked ๐Ÿ˜‰

  3. That was a pretty fast reply! I wonder how big you have to be to be noticed, if blocking sites requires human input, then I imagine quite big.

  4. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
it’s blocked, my site has been blocked ๐Ÿ™

You can not access blog.awilkin.com from China.

  5. Maybe it was the stuff about Baptist churches? The firewall computers might have confused that with the underground house church?

Tenuous, maybe, but the best I could do, you only have four posts after all.

Unless of course the Chinese test box could not get your webpage for purely technical reasons.

  6. I think it might be to do with the word ‘blog’. Alex’s blog is blocked, and — don’t tell anyone this — but it’s because he’s hosted on WordPress.com ๐Ÿ˜€
