Well, Joe has given us some more helpful Biblical guidance about who to vote for. Unfortunately, it’s not particularly helpful because it basically says all three main parties are going to wreak destruction on the land: Revelation 9:17-19.

I was listening to the radio news in the car on the way home last night, and there was an item about a guy called Bourgass with connections to al-Qaeda who manufactured Ricin and was planning to wreak havoc on North London. That was the picture I got.
Alternatively, it might just have been a load of tripe.
I do worry when it gets to the stage that the government put so much spin on something just to push one of their pet schemes through (ID cards, in this case). Incidentally, in that article, read through to the last paragraph (the footnote): it’s worth reading 🙂
I’ve just noticed, someone else I know now has a blog! Liz Saunders was the chaplaincy assistant at the University of Essex whilst I was in my second year there. I see this blog madness is spreading… hmm… 😉

I haven’t been up to much recently. I just wanted to update and say that! Just to let you know that I’m alive 🙂
I’ve been doing a fair bit of DJing this week (or at least, practising DJing). Bought a couple of new tunes. Gone through to the next round of the online DJ competition that I’m in.
In general, nothing much to speak of! Hopefully I’ll have something more interesting to say next time… 😉
Well, it’s been quite a good weekend. Friday night I didn’t do much… Saturday morning, I went over to a friend of mine’s to work on a new design for Crossring. That was quite a productive time! Then, in the afternoon I met Philippa at Ipswich station and she came round and stayed overnight.
We just stayed in last night and watched “Murder by Death”, a relatively old film but it’s got Peter Sellers in it (as well as a few other famous actors) – I think I might have mentioned it before.
This morning we went to church, in the afternoon we went for a walk and then I took Philippa back to the station to go home! Anyway, that’s about it for now. X-Blog is nearly ready, so expect some news about that soon!
One of these days, I’ll post something which isn’t about the new blog system! The funny thing is, this website isn’t actually using the latest version of the blog. I have learnt from past mistakes, and I’m not developing on a live website any more! Speaking of which, I’m going to reinstall Linux and try and get PHP working with MySQL…
And if all things go well, I will have a blog system available for download very soon 🙂
Well, I’ve been working on the blog a bit further… hopefully things will be all set to download by the end of the week!
Don’t wait with baited breath, though, I might have to go away on a client visit for work sometime which would push the date back a bit. It’s in a usable state at the moment, I just need to tidy up a few things before I can make the first general release!
… but I’ve set up the new site, “X-Blog”. It doesn’t have very much on there at the moment, but you can find it here. Hopefully by the end of this week, it will even be in a reasonably stable state with some useful stuff on there, for example – a download of the files you need with an installation guide!
Shocking, I know. Anyway, all for now…
Well, I’ve got some good news and some bad news. Let’s start with the good news… the good news is that I’ve added a new feature to the blog – the ability to archive posts the minute you make them (i.e., as you will see this post now appears in the Archive, even though it’s a new post). Unfortunately, the bad news is that the creation of this new feature meant that all the posts that I made since the start of April have been deleted.
That is not a good state of affairs, unfortunately!
Ah well, it could have been worse. It was a really stupid mistake, so I deserveed it! Also of course, serves me right for working on my live blog where I should be working on my computer (I will get around to rebuilding it properly one day…)
Anyway. Um, I’ve had a good week down at Philippa’s, got back on Friday, had a good weekend. Yesterday went to look for flats. Today went to Church, dropped Philippa off at the station…
Oh, and I think I’m going to start up a new page for my blog system as the feature list is starting to get bigger… I think I’m going to call it “X-Blog” (or perhaps a cheesy pun like “Sacre Blog” – Sacre Bleu, geddit?).
