ChapAss Is Back…

Joe Byrne, the Anglican Chaplaincy Assistant (“ChapAss”) 2003/4 is back. You can read all about it on his blog.

Incidentally, I’d like to thank Simon for wishing me a happy birthday on his blog — even if it was a bit late! I didn’t notice until today because the front page hadn’t been updated (or if it had, it was still cached on my machine).

The last couple of days have been OK, nothing really hard. Newmarket was good, although I wasn’t supposed to be there! The agency neglected to mention that I wasn’t supposed to turn up yesterday as well as today and Monday. Oh well. Still I got the day’s work! There was one other girl from Blue Arrow there (they forgot to tell her as well) and we sorted out something. So I got paid for a day’s work I shouldn’t have had! Not bad 🙂 I had a bit of a cold and felt rough, but I survived.

And today at the football ground was pretty good, wasn’t too busy at all! Certainly not as busy as the England game. Tame by comparison really!

I might have mentioned this before, but oh well. I’m going up to Colchester next Tuesday. I’ll be there probably from early afternoon to early evening (ish)… so if anyone I know is reading this and around in Colchester then, let me know and we might be able to hook up. I’m going just to pick up my house key and drop a few bits off at the house (not much, just really want to see if I need to get anything for the room next year!).

Right, I’m off to bed now…
