I came back home, I chatted for AndyB for an hour, then I went to Rich’s to play some music 🙂 Right, that’s the rest of the day dealt with, now for the interesting stuff.

As you know it was Becca’s, uh, gathering yesterday. Bod (one of Paul’s friends) has already got up some photos! You can view them all here although I personally recommend this one (me falling asleep…) and this one (my impression of Jay from Jay & Silent Bob) — not to mention this one (Philippa looking VERY scary…)

Not sure whether that’s a good or a bad thing. On Simon’s latest news post he quoted me — without my permission, I might add. I just can’t help being the soundbite kind of person… And also at the end he actually linked to two pictures that I’ve created! Honestly! Apparently he’s getting worried about me… I really don’t know what he’s talking about… wibble fish marmite.

Anyway. Today I got up at 7:30 just so that I could get a lift to Fordham 🙂 It was good. Then back onto campus, I had lunch with mad welshman Phil and then we chatted for a bit at his flat. Then on to “The Event That Was Formerly Known As Tower Evangelism.” aka, Washing Up. With the CU. That was good fun, we didn’t do many flats and didn’t get in many great conversations — but we did serve people!

Now I’m sitting in a computer lab whilst some birds are twittering just outside the window or something. It’s rather annoying… I’m going now. Bye.

You can’t really call it a party, it was more of a gathering to celebrate Becca’s birthday. First of all me, Paul, Becca, Naomi, Katie and two of Becca’s friends from home went for dinner at ASK in Colchester. Twas good, I had pizza and then some ice cream. It was very nice! Then on to the Ha Ha bar in the town centre. There were more people there, so I spent about an hour chatting with people before heading off home. I was a bit tired so didn’t stay too long!

If I’m going to get to Church tomorrow I’m probably going to have to get a lift at 9:05… meaning I’d have to get up at about 7:30! Shocking! Oh well, to bed soon I guess. Fun fun fun!

Did my radio show today. Then did the CU mix. Came back home. Exciting stuff or what?

Becca’s party tonight. I’m going out for dinner with a group of people then heading to a bar where more people will be joining us. It should be a good evening 🙂 I’ll update later, hopefully…

Firstly, let me just have a short rant about cheesy tunes. Well not even a rant. I just have to say it was absolutely awful. That was probably one of the worst that I’ve been to all year. The problem was, they didn’t actually play anything cheesy. Well, about two or three songs perhaps. That’s just not acceptable for ‘cheesy’ tunes! They had a new DJ doing it, and he was playing random stuff (mainly rnb I guess) although none of it was cheesy. What is going on, I don’t know… I may well send an email to ents telling them so! Yeah, that’d show ’em…

On a more positive note, I’ve finally got some pictures of Simon’s party! Yay! You can see them here. I’m afraid that just about every one except one contains a picture of me, but apart from that they’re pretty good! I should be getting some more soon, hopefully of me DJing, so keep ’em peeled 😉

And so on. Ah yes. We had fun this morning! It looks like I’m going to be doing an evangelistic next year *gulp*… I’m sure I’m going to regret saying that but I’ve got a few months to think about!

I sent off my CV to a company in Ipswich that is offering a placement over the summer. It would be great if I got it, it’s local, pay isn’t bad and it’s in an area that I want to work in after I graduate!

Anyway, I’m about to start some revision. Good ol’ CC256 computer graphics, I AM going to learn the equations for the midpoint algorithms!!!

Yeah it was fun. Won’t really say much about it, not that there’s much to say …. Did some revision, went to theology, went for dinner afterwards with Liz, PhilB and Dr Nehmzow. Dr Nehmzow is actually a nice bloke, he’s not a bad lecturer either — I’m certainly not as worried about the exam as I was! Hehe.

Um, I’m rather tired so I’m going to bed soon… just going to listen to Ferry Corsten – Indigo and Cor Fijneman – Venus which arrived this morning 🙂

Oh yes. Revision is fun, at least so I keep telling myself. I came in this morning for a 12:00 lecture. The only reason I bother going to the revision lectures for that particular course is because the lecturer basically reads out the notes in answering past paper questions, which means that I don’t have to…

I went to Horizon at 1:00 in the chaplaincy. That was good. Matthew took it, it was on Galations 5:1-6. There were quite a few people there as well!

Now I’m sitting in csclab4 trying to revise, whilst prevaricating by posting on this blog and various other things. Ah well. Suppose I’d better get back to the past papers…

This evening is theology seminar. Dr Nehmzow is doing it (not sure if that’s how you spell it though) — he teaches one of the robotics courses that I’m doing (Robot Programming). Going tonight could be interesting… I’ve been invited back afterwards to the Wivenhoe House Hotel for dinner. Hopefully I’ll be able to worm some revision tips out of him…
