I really don’t have much to say here. I haven’t done all that much… Yesterday, I went into town to meet up with Tom and a couple of other people. We went to the Cricketers to have lunch. It’s a Wetherspoon’s pub (like the Playhouse in Colchester). I quite liked it – nice and cheap and the food wasn’t too bad! That was a good time, spending a couple of hours chatting and stuff. Then I went back home. Graham Spiers had come round for the afternoon, so spent some time chatting with him and my parents. Then… well, I didn’t really do much else.
I did read through those notes on musical theory and I think I’m beginning to understand it. So much so that (shock! horror!) – I actually wrote a small tune! It’s only eight bars long, and I don’t think it’s particularly good, but it’s a start.
Not much else to say now, so I’ll stop …
